To many small businesses an Employee Handbook can seem a luxury but in fact if you've got more than a couple of dozen employees it's a very useful tool to set out what the business expects of its people and what they get back from working for you. Every business has rules, procedures (some required by statute), hours of work, annual leave etc – so why not set them out clearly for the employees, their immediate managers, and you?

Every business of any size needs to train its people and to keep their skills updated - all the more so if your business is going for IIP or ISO accreditation. We offer an 'infrastructure' package tailored to your needs that will put in place the documentation and processes you will need:

  • We can show you how to draw up job descriptions or even do them for you
  • We can show you how to work out the skills, knowledge etc needed by staff to do their job
  • We can build and show you how to operate a simple MS Office based Training Matrix for every job to record the skills needed v the skills job holders have (available separately or as part of our Employee records System). We also have manual versions.
  • We can provide simple documentation to record employee development plans (stand alone or as part of an overall performance review system)
